Footprints In the Sand
I have sought far and wide for a refuge
With sight so keen, flight so strong
Left, deception shot its arrows
Right, innocence fell to earth gashed
Past became but a lost memory
I walked, I knew not where
For my relief, holding destiny’s hands
Through the world’s bemused labyrinth
