Psalms 24:3 (KJV) “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?”
For the morning sun, who colors the entire world
In hues of grace, promises who bring faith
From the shadows of night’s darkness, whirled
Carefully through the heart, verses saith…
He is the One who created the morning sun
He is the hope before the world begun
He is the light for hearts and souls, everyone
He is the peace that will never be outdone
For the promise of each star as it glistens gently
Filling the whole heart with a sense of wonder
Surviving the night, it abides to smile so intently
Quieting all doubt, bringing the rain and thunder
He is the One who lasts forever, throughout time
His love is so beautiful to lose it would be a crime
He is the reason someday to heaven I’ll climb
He is worthy - Lord and adored will always rhyme
For the joy of knowing Him, my best friend
I would face the darkness, the dread and fear
Because of Him, I’m sure that every hurt will mend
He is the answer to my prayers, He will always hear…
This love I have for Him will not compare
He lives deep within, so that I can share
This love that He has given me – Love so rare
Thanks to Him, His grace, I definitely care….
Because of Jesus, my best friend – one day, I’ll ascend!
