Flying Free
Chick was leaving a safe nest
Out on his own, doing his best
Feathers fluffed up, nice and clean
An independent and young teen
Resume typed and ready
Not nervous and holding steady
Walking in. Head held high
Giving all and his best try
Meeting everyone who'll be
His new working fun family
Who will answer any question
He might have with each new lesson
His new desk and comfy chair
Has work waiting for him there
Stacks of papers in a pile
That he has to sort and file
Emails, messages, calls
Trying to finish them all
One at a time, taking it slow
Each new task, his skills will grow
His confidence is coming through
With every job he has to do
A star that is on the rise
Catching everybody's eye
His skills start to really peak
Soon he's employee of the week
This chick's happy with a smile
With new attitude and style
