Flowers Followed Me Home Today
Flowers followed me home today.
They were in full bloom wanting to play.
Why did you pick yourself? I asked.
Don’t you realize now you will easily pass?
Cut flowers are always sad to me.
I want them in the ground, where they need to be
Flowers, is it too late for you to be replanted?
I am sad beyond sad, my attitude daunted.
