Flowers
Here the sunlit hours stream
As fancy as warm dreams
All around the sparkle
Hues and tints now dazzle
Green grass and greenery
Nature knows sheer revelry
If only sighs boost highs
In awe I wonder why
Such pretty flowers sing
I watch as stillness flings
Fields of sheer ecstasy
Wait upon mystery
This earth is so lovely
Why then our sad story?
Pretty flowers in brief
Now bedazzle vain grief
A merchant of words here
May joy cluster sweet cheer
