Floating Away
Sitting here on my boat.
Watching life pass as I float
Fires burning everywhere i can see
Can't touch me
All the hate
Hope its not our fate
Maybe its to late
For all the people on land
They dont seem to understand
This isn't how it should be
I only want to be on the sea
We don't need to be this way
But from what everyone has to say
Hate seems to be the way
I'm crazy
Maybe a little lazy
Getting away from it all
Seems mankind is starting to fall
All they do is fight
Fires burning into the night
Riots going on so long
This is so wrong
We've lost our song
We are lost
Humanity is the cost
I want to sail away
No where on land is a safe place to stay
I try not to get involved with this hate
We need a clean slate
Sail away to some distant place
While everyone falls from grace
Take my boat
And gently float
To a place no man can go
Take life slow
Never see another soul
Thats my goal
Find peace in my heart
Thats where I need to start
No one around
Get away from the sound
Head for the sea
That's where I want to be
One plus one always equals hate
Is it to late
Can I ever be free
From all the hate i see.
Makes me cry
I dont know why
Mankind turns their back on love
A gift from above
Leave all land
Cause I dont understand
Why we have to fight
It isn't right.
Lost in sorrow.
Maybe in some tomorrow
We will find our way back
Stop this hateful attack
Before its too late
Mankind has pushed to far
Its leaving its scar
Who will survive all this hate
Stop before its to late
I'll sail far
To leave behind, this scar
In search of what I dont know
A place where hate doesn't show
