The Bell
Invented by John Anderson. an elongated version of a Cinquain. It has 9 lines and a rigid syllable count of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 8, 2, 1, respectively. Usually presented with center alignment and should end with a counter-point, or surprise (the hammer), after the 'argument' is developed and built-up with the longer lines.

The stars oft seem immortal like flickering candles lighting the vacuum of space and creating the elements for life but though near eternal as time stars do die. (The Bell) 7/02/2021
