Fleas To Meet You
FLEAS TO MEET YOU
There are times, one needs to clean up their act
Hold on there, whilst I deflea this darn pesky cat
The dog has bolted, he knows it is his turn next
The budgie has pulled its feathers, mites O' 'eck
Time, I had finished, I was not too bright myself
So bath time with Listerine; I found on the shelf
By the time we got into bed we all kinda smelled
But, we're clear from those pesky fleas from hell
"Given I don't even own a bird, cat or a dog . . .
I have no idea how I make these poems up" . . .
