Flame of Light (Italian Sonnet)

I gaze upon the candle's flame tonight, and watch it dance in amber flicker flow, oh flame of light, my wish I think you know to see my love beyond the veil of sight. In age-old whispers mystic's words incite, with magic set my lover's heart a glow, upon the winds a gentle breath shall go and say the words of love to her tonight. I close my eyes and see her standing there in beauty's smile I start to feel her kiss we sit and talk of love without a care as senses reel in passion's sweet abyss until the night shall sing its last refrains and just one candle lit flicker remains.
