First Snow Storm
Owls take shelter in snow covered nests.
As cold winds howl, blowing wet leaves.
Snow blankets the drab ground white,
as ice coats barren limbs.
Crackling and swaying,
as tree limbs fall.
Snapping lines,
darkness.
Storm.
