First Snow

Snow is rain
with a playful
chill -- gaily
floating, gliding
bored with a ping
and a spill -- 

children, likewise
though fond of a dip and
a stroke, also love to run, jump
and sled down 
                  a
                    frosty
                            slippery 
                                     slope --
