I found the joy
In light and love
Laughter sent down
From heaven above
You found the hope
In faith from the Father
A pure inspiration
From God’s enlightenment
He found serenity
In a heart that gives
From the kindness within
Where heaven moves
I found joy, gladness, warmth
You found hope, healing, grace
He found peace, promise and praise
Together, we discovered
That each of our hearts
Was blessed with warmth
From the lover of our soul
The one who knows us
Better than we can grasp
Together, we learned
Life begins with a new birth
The saving grace that gives us
A new day, a new way, a new ray
Of the Son light coming down
To a heart who needs a real friend
And is filled with the need to see
God’s grace revealed from within
The truth opens the heart’s door
To wanting more and more
Of this Son’s light and love
The answer sent down from above
To shower us all with good
Open the soul up to grow faithful
To the One who answers prayers
With sincerity filled with caring
Assurance filled with miracles
Second chances to be who God
Guides the heart of the convert
Together, we found the answer
To every prayer or question
This Son of God, Jesus, the Christ
Opens the way to sustaining faith
Through Grace we are saved
And through faith we can stay
Close to the Holy Spirit, the One
Who will continue to lead us home
Toward heaven, our joyful hope
Together, we know… God is love
And He sent His Son from above
To answer our prayer for One
Who could save us from sin and pain
Sustain us through worry and strife
Give us the assurance of a new life
Together, we three - I, You and He
Have discovered the three
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
