First Kiss
I was your queen, you were my king
Unexpected were our lips pressed together on that old tire swing
Exhilarating feelings a first kiss does bring
My body grew warm and flush with butterflies that did twirl and sing
Later that evening you asked me to meet you back by the swing
You brought with you a surprise, some edible bling
Your words "now darling I'm tarnished with a few dents and dings
I don't know where this is heading but I promise you'll always mean more to me than just a fling"
Still down on one knee twas more than our lips but tongues twirled and locked as we shared that delightfully tasty promise ring
Can't say it was love but something was certainly in the air that spring
Didn't last long term but I reminisce when I stumble upon a tire swing
As I recall fondly my first kiss what an incredible smile it still does bring
