Flickering in green gold 
Floating little light bulb
Flying with silent wings
Flightless females await
Flashing to find a mate 
Fluttering together
Flare of sparks dance composed

I kinda started singing and wondered if it was... this is an totally awesome arrangement of words and how you used the letter F is great.. can't be easy talking about a firefly and having to use the same letter, but you have described the mating process here... I don't know much about them, but males flash to attract females.. some females even kill them whilst mating and use their elements to protect newborn.. but im no expert... love a firefly though...
