Fire - Friend and Fiend
Flames from a fuming dragon's snout,
Igniting all that's in its route,
Rendering to ash and cinder,
Extinguishes self like tinder.
Such is the nature of fire,
Destroyer of vaunted desire,
Nullifier of unbounded pride,
Death-dealer, with no side.
When Prometheus stole the blaze,
The God's in terrible raze,
To the rock did him bind,
And screwed with Human's mind.
Thus Fire, Man's greatest friend,
Is also a means to his fiendish end!

*word raze purposely used in place of rage to show the self-consuming nature of both
