Finicky Drinkers

Kentucky's Jim Beam is hardly my friend, and I do not know neighbor Jack Daniel. Uh, personally, I favor a blend: Common Old Crow or Wild Turkey will do. I have a good friend, who prefers special flowers, as in the tasty Four Roses, particularly! Another friend, she prefers a good Gin. No tequila, please! The hangover is intolerable, and I will not drink a cold beer, you hear? Hey, I'll drink your tea for you if you want to get yourself a more enjoyable drink. Glad you stopped by and read my "poem."

Nice poem about substances I can't imbibe now because of my present medical condition. Nicely written as usual. Note to Michelle: That rum cocktail she mentions is correctly spelled "daiquiri".

Robert, truth is, I was just trying to come up with a not-so-overdone subject matter that I could write 20 lines of 3-5 syllable. My first attempt had 3-5 syllable in each line. Then, I realized the direction probably meant 3, 4, or 5 syllables per line??? So, I revised and this is what I came up with. Certainly not one of my best efforts, I think. Thanks for your encouragement. Have a glass of tea on me.

Oh, well, I couldn't quite squeeze those six syllable into my poem. I like them, too.
