Finding home

I think you can tell you love someone when, like Darcy and Lizzie, you let go of pride and prejudice, and what's left between you is pure and honest. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Gatsby reaching for Daisy's green light, their presence is the dream you never stop chasing. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Catherine and Heathcliff, your souls are tied so tightly that no distance, no time, can break that bond. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Romeo and Juliet, every moment together feels like a small rebellion against the world. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Hazel and Augustus, you find infinite joy in the smallest, quietest moments with them. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Orpheus searching for Eurydice, you'd go to any lengths, even through the darkest places, just for one more glimpse. I think you can tell you love someone when, like Jane and Rochester, you see their imperfections, and somehow, that makes you love them even more. I think you can tell you love someone when, like the quiet sigh of relief after a long day, they become your safe place, the home you never knew you needed.
