Fight Or Flight

* This may be turned into a Lyric later. It's happening again Fight or flight, don't you know? It's happening again Fear and anger, putting on a show I don't want to run But, I don't want to yell Show me another way, Show me another way My heart, it hangs on strings Strong, but fragile like glass I'm looking right through, with fight or flight Just waiting for this to pass... I'm not playing these games It's fight or flight, don't you know? Anger and fear, putting on a show, I don't want to play! There's another way, another way When it all settles in reflections to see, I hope you may gain some insight Because, you can't walk on water! Again, it's fight or flight Heidi Sands 10/1/23

"My heart, it hangs on strings strong, but fragile like glass" Wow, such a heartfelt lyrical write full of emotions and ache, when you don't want to suffer from the phase of angst and pain again but are stuck in a cycle that constantly repeats itself.. Sigh, quite poignant.. Brilliantly crafted dear Heidi, love this..
