Wandering hand in hand along fields of gold, jealous sun shines upon this summertime love. Night-bird, song-bird have a story to be told. I need your love so bad, like a lonesome dove. Jealous sun shines upon this summertime love. Cheek to cheek with my Honeysuckle rose. I need your love so bad, like a lonesome dove. I know you by heart from my head to toes. Cheek to cheek with my Honeysuckle rose, Like fragile buds, your touch is fine and mellow. I know you by heart from my head to toes. How can I keep from singing? You're my cello. Like fragile buds, your touch is fine and mellow. Ain't no sunshine when your melody is mute. How can I keep from singing? You're my cello. You take my breath away like forbidden fruit. Ain't no sunshine when your melody is mute. What a wonderful world, now that you are here. You take my breath away like forbidden fruit. I'm drowning in the sea of love with no fear. What a wonderful world, now that you are here. Let us watch Bluebirds sing over the rainbow. I'm drowning in the sea of love with no fear. Never say goodbye, let love be our meadow. Let us watch Bluebirds sing over the rainbow. Night-bird, song-bird have a story to be told. Never say goodbye, let love be our meadow. Wandering hand in hand along fields of gold. 'Fields of Gold'. The pantoum includes 17 song titles from her albums. It has 10-11 syllables per line. Listed below are the song titles. Fields Of Gold Summertime Songbird Nightbird Need Your Love So Bad Cheek To Cheek Honeysuckle Rose I Know You By Heart Need Your Love So Bad Fine And Mellow How Can I Keep From Singing? Ain't No Sunshine You Take My Breath Away What A Wonderful World Drowning In The Sea Of Love Over The Rainbow Say Goodbye Pantoum poem A rare form of poetry. It is composed of a series of quatrains; the second and fourth lines of each stanza are repeated as the first and third lines of the next. This pattern continues for any number of stanzas, except for the final stanza, which differs in the repeating pattern. The first and third lines of the last stanza are the second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second of the final. Ideally, the meaning of lines shifts when they are repeated although the words remain exactly the same: this can be done by shifting punctuation, punning, or simply recontextualizing. It does not have to rhyme nor have a syllable restriction

Pantoums are very difficult to do. As I recall, were you not the one that had us one time fashion pantoum poetry out of song titles? I will always remember how long it took me. Forever!! This one drew my attention because I adore that song Fields of Gold.

This is so lovely, ZZ, as is this song and all of Eva Cassidy's music. A wonderful tribute to an absolutely wonderful singer. She is one of my very favorites. It's really a shame that she died so very young.

You have been at this for a while, I see. Well written and executed, as always, Silent One. I think the poem flows better when the song titles are not highlighted in bold, just as you have done here.
