Dear Sara, your haiku provides plenty of images. Thunder rumbles, and the leaves morph into water slides for the little raindrops. I hope you were undamaged by the recent deadly hurricane in Houston, which took the lives of three people, as reported by the media.

thanks for your visit, dear Sotto. No, we weren't damaged by the recent storms. Houston is about six hours away. They bore the brunt of the storm. All we had was tons of rain...we need it though, for summers tend to parch the land. Wishing you a splendid evening,your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
