- The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart. -Helen Keller
Hope fuels my wishes and dreams,
immune to life's lows and extremes
it sets imprisoned feelings free,
O God, be merciful to me.
Faith's the rock that anchors my soul
ensuring God is in control;
for faith opens my eyes to see,
O God, be merciful to me.
Charity is a selfless gift
that gives fallen brethren a lift;
all that I give, I give for thee,
O God, be merciful to me.
Love is the greatest gift of all;
and can make you feel ten feet tall;
when doubt locks me out, love's the key,
O God, be merciful to me.
These ethereal gifts, as such,
cannot be seen or even touched;
but each is priceless; I agree,
O God, be merciful to me.
