Feel Me

There have been times that I have laughed until I cried. Such laughs felt like medicine that numbs the pain. Other times, I have laughed to keep from crying. Perhaps that may be a form of mixed emotions. Sometimes, I feel like flying; however, I know I cannot. No, I don't have wings; but in my brains, I fly anyway. Sometimes, I feel like crying; and then, I don't. Sometimes, I feel like crying; and I do, but hide my tears. Sometimes, I feel like singing; but I'm no good at it. So, I sing silently, so that no one can hear me. Sometimes, I feel like saying things no one wants to hear. At times, I say those things anyway; but most times, I don't. There are times I feel like dancing, but I don't know-how. That's right; I never learned to dance, but sometimes, on a cheery day, and most things are going my way, when no one but God is watching, I dance anyway. 03222017 PS, JP Contest 5: Feelings, Jamie Pan

Your words have no hidden agenda or message, instead it focuses the reader on your thoughts through your poetic skills, offering the most simple and basic thoughts and defining the subject matter as felt by a regular person, trying to relate to his surroundings the best he can. Emile.
