Feel Me
There have been times that I have laughed until I cried. Such laughs felt like medicine that numbs the pain.
Other times, I have laughed to keep from crying. Perhaps that may be a form of mixed emotions.
Sometimes, I feel like flying; however, I know I cannot. No, I don't have wings; but in my brains, I fly anyway.
Sometimes, I feel like crying; and then, I don't. Sometimes, I feel like crying; and I do, but hide my tears.
Sometimes, I feel like singing; but I'm no good at it. So, I sing silently, so that no one can hear me.
Sometimes, I feel like saying things no one wants to hear. At times, I say those things anyway; but most times, I don't.
There are times I feel like dancing, but I don't know-how. That's right; I never learned to dance, but sometimes,
on a cheery day, and most things are going my way, when no one but God is watching, I dance anyway.
