Stop, Gershon. My birthday is March 13th...I recall those parties in winter. But Loved Chicago in full bloom in Spring.all other seasons there? Pass!! Well written poem Panagiota

Happy upcoming birthday, Panagiota!! And you're right: March 13 is as likely to be icicle-bound as it is to be bicycle-bound...But ah, Spring! … Sometimes the middle of Fall too is nice. The rest -- oh, well. (And sounds like you've moved on from Chicago, eh?) ~ gw

Really?! -- March?! Well, then don't come to Chicago in late March or early April, as you're almost guaranteed to run into (another) snowstorm... Opening Day of the baseball season, you know. (And we have two professional teams = 2 snow days in April. LOL). ~ Gershon

Well, I guess for Chicago it's strange that we're finally having a good, old-fashioned, pre-climate-weirdness February, i.e., really cold and lots of snow and ice! :) gw
