Notes About The Poem

squirrel red cute

- February -

The ground is chained in frozen iron
Snow crystals glued on pine cones
Overhangs embroideries of polished ice
The wind shakes and shatters them into millions of pieces

Slowly more brightness toward longer days
A new light is born across a white landscape
With its beauty and bliss a squirrel in a pine tree
Thoughts and reflections how beautiful it is

I noticed how much you write about the seasons. Over here (South Africa) we last saw snow in 1981 and summer is way too hot . Send us some snow we will send you some sun. Lovely imagery .

your words soften my heart like a damsel in need of a companion..... Your lines are sweeteners to a curious mind which is absolutely satisfied. There's this eagerness I have running to your pages and your reputation of meeting that expectation is beyond any form of appreciation or grading. Beyond 7 my friend!!
