I've heard that love
is all about heart --
so dear, my heart is
yours;

I hear that loneliness
is all about apart -- 
so take my hand

it is yours....

I know that time
is timeless, when moon
and stars all a-line -- 

a stray puppy

a little kitten

come to a yard

no tender heart will

decline -- 

as a stray soul 

looking for God

will find

grace and love are

Dark can be positive also -- airing is good for heart and soul.... Helps self and others. Bridges time and space, humanizing all of us. One in God.

Gosh dear joe, this made my heart full, what a soulfully moving poem, especially the opening stanzas are so thoughtful and beautiful, ah to receive such care and love is truly a blessing when this world refuses to give as much. I love the way youv said “ so dear, my heart is yours“ awwn thats so sweet! Just beautiful! And the ending is so heartfelt too. Love this poem ! Pleasure reading this gem. Sending you light always . P.s to your previous comment, maldivians dont celebrate thanksgiving, but why not take every opportunity to spread light and kindness, hence why, i wish all that. Hope you had a lovely one

Why complicate a kiss or hug...? Somethings best as face value. I often remind myself...that if I have to spend a lot time convincing myself, as to whether something is wrong or right...it is probably wrong. Love needs no affirmation but its presence.

I agree totally, Joe. God's love is there waiting for us to come and accept it. His agape love for which we humans can't ever reach in our life on earth even though we try but someday we will be blessed with that gift of that Divine love. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Seems pretty cut and dry to folks who reason as we do. A library full of books on the subject...is more procrastination and avoidance. Blessings my friend.
