Fear Not the Night

A-fter the noon is gone, N-ew moon begins to come; N-o more light from the beacon, although the wind stays calm. V-iew from everywhere I-s black, dark, and gray; L-amp can guide your steps, L-ife on earth is not all-day. A-s twenty-first of December J-oins the birthday delight; U-nderneath the coal sky, A-im not to fear the N-ight.
