Fear and Dread
The creepy wood weaves evil tricks
of werewolves in furry britches.
The blood moon, descending in ticks,
highlights silhouettes of witches.
Wait! Did you see that?
The gloom looms as of ill fortune
and darkness covers, shadows fall
forming blackness fanned by torchon
accenting drear dementors’ pall.
Wait! Did you feel that?
Not-quite living leap open graves,
and scourge the earth walking, as dead.
Their strange song corrupts and depraves.
Halloween night brings fear and dread.
Wait! Did you hear that?
