Fear whispers worry into your ear
Anxiety into your hopes and dreams
Fear promises to protect your heart
While it takes away your joy and faith
Fear keeps you awake at night
Yearning for the kindness of serenity
Within the heart who knows only dread
And the spirit who is living in panic
Fear lies to you with words of alarm
Spreads nightmares through your hopes
Breathes distress into your thoughts
And fills your life with apprehension
God whispers assurance into your ear
Words of joy through your senses
A promise of hope into your dreams
Confidence into your feelings of insecurity
God secures your soul with His love
Breaks apart trepidation with grace
Conceals your faith in a breath of praise
And awakens your joy with His Word
Listen to the whisper from above
Soothing and assuring your love
Reminding you to listen to God
Who knows all your fears and comforts you
Instead of allowing you to live in dread
Fear is a liar
Who will color your life
In darkness and distress
Follow God’s light
And the voice of love’s insight
Isaiah 41:10
King James Version
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
