Fate-Could It Be

There is something to be said, About us... Finding each other time and time again, Not by choice, But by chance. Could it be fate? This love that turns Love to hate, Hate to love Denial to Acceptance, Acceptance to opposition, The battle of this love. The worst feeling is waking up, Knowing that we both love each other, But we just can’t, Be in each other’s arms. This is the saddest love I know, Back then it wasn’t what I wanted. I mean I wanted you, a “Mission Impossible” I tried, but it wasn’t right, Not the love I wanted from you. I tried to hate you, I tried to run far away from you, Somehow I always end up back to you, I lied to myself saying “it just doesn’t make sense” But does it ever really make sense, Circumstances were never right, I don’t know if the world is saying “Stop separating” But I know deep down its “NO” All the signs are there, At least I think so, Time is never on our side, Regardless,am saving you a seat in my future, just in case! Tucked away in the corner of my heart, That maybe someday, just maybe... We’ll find a way back to each other. I don’t know how destiny works But “that’s life I guess. Unfair sometimes, There are things we never want happen But in the end have to accept, Things we’re in denial about, But we have to learn, People we can’t live without But have to let go. Sometimes it’s our fault I guess. But we were young back then, Mistakes were bound to happen, That’s what life’s about. We live and we learn. Just because I don’t talk to you Doesn’t mean I love you less, But I know that we can’t, I can’t… The only thing that stands in our way is “Reality” Even if you’re far away, I’ll always be there, After all these years, This is what I know for sure That time doesn’t fade this love.
