What the Fuss

As women we can be our worst critic. We can be much to hard on ourselves, outside of the boundaries of being tough enough to lose. I’m talking about self abuse or becoming depressed. This little poem is just saying lighten up. Take one day at a time. Be patient with yourself. While staying on course with your weight loss goals is what you must do... you must also make shorter goals and don’t get abusive, obsessed, or depressed if you don’t meet those goals.

WHAT THE FUSS What the fuss? Why the disgust? Look at the progress you’ve made. Not just losing pounds So what, the face is still round You’re worth more than the price you have paid. Take off that silly frown glimpsing down at your gown, it's been ages since you walked down the aisle. It's your wedding anniversary, there's now even a nursery, and your curves have changed having a child. What's all the fuss? Cry if you must, But at least smile for how far you've come, A new day is here, you’re more precious my dear, You're still “you” when it's all said and done. You're at least now a 10? So lift up your chin, and in case you're much more than that, Keep your eye on your goal, you'll soon fit in your mold, So love yourself right where you're AT!
