Jack, Oh!! No!! The egret is a white bird in the heron family and they usually are in the pastures with cows and as the cows walk along and graze they stir up bugs which the egrets eat..Sometimes the egrets will even be on the backs of the cows I guess they are eating flies and other insects that get on the cows..They are a team helping each other out..Thanks for dropping by..Sara
