11/25/2024 for Descent and ascent Poetry Contest sponsored by Unseeking Seeker

Farewell, my troubled, harsh, earthly life, filled with sorrow, filled with strife. Always and ever, would I grope for appearing, disappearing hope. For every time I would ascend, once more, I would then descend. Yet, each time I'd go down, then fate would pull me up again, and every time my hope was dashed, new upbeat inspirations flashed. For each low, this coaster has a high - Now, I really don't want to die.
