Fankoo

[Inspired in no small way by the poem “Thankyou” by Deb M] The Fankoo is almost extinct He often spoke before he thinked He’ll take you for granted Through eyes that are slanted His gratitude ain’t index linked The Pleese are his very best friends A species on which he depends A nocturnal race That won’t show their face A shyness that sometimes offends How easily we can forget The species that some never met Our world could still use Some Pleese and Fankoos So let’s not forget them just yet

Thanks, Jan. I was beginning to think this missed the spot by a mile, so I’m glad you enjoyed. I’m in the middle of a poop type poem right now, but I’ll have to check your remit as it’s not a Human doing the pooping!
