Fall's March
Once a year autumn throws a parade
leaves like confetti fall to the ground
floating to the tune of nature
where a procession of floats awe
so earthly and golden the color
as the leaves take that one last dance
that one last march
so meaningful and purposeful
and ceremoniously
like salmon swimming up stream
spawning and then dying
when the parade sadly concludes
the landed leaves, too, take a final bow
