Falls Away
It slowly falls away
What you cannot see and cannot feel
There was a memory from yesterday
And today… it no longer feels real
What felt so right before
Today’s time only feels so wrong
That one moment I once saw
Was perhaps the only time I truly belong
Adrift… wander, aloof…forever
Without a foothold, I find myself standing firm
A no one is after all a someone better
With a troubling mind never failing to learn
A single night, a thousand dreams
That stolen sight, that hidden soul
The body belongs not to where the mind has been
How do I even begin to follow?
Falling slowly away
I do not want to see nor feel
Can you remember every yesterday?
Is tomorrow only going to feel so real?
