Falling

When you kiss me I feel free Wondering bird on the bluest breeze Wonderfully made like orange fall leaf Warm unafraid and amazed at my peace. As you hold me I feel hope Amber sun rays from holy ghost Allowing me grace and the upmost Anticipated love that keeps us close Come near my dear never distress Cry nor deny who loves you best Christ is first then others digress Can I be second in your happiness? My love is agape my love is true Moments are forever when I’m with you Music is clever like our onyx union Melodic together holy like communion. Joy is seeing your sweet smile Juicy like fruit that I taste now Jewel of my heart you are allowed Jump in my thoughts and stay a while.

The girl I have a picture of on my shelf. I seem to remember her writing of me. But nothing like this.

Karen, your words have truly captured the essence of this piece. I appreciate how you mention the 'highest form' of love, agape, as it adds depth and profoundness to your writing. Reading your words brings immense joy, as the love you have beautifully portrayed here is pure, tender, and almost ethereal in nature.

Thanks Sam. I did not know this interesting fact about Einstein as it relates to relativity. Love is inspiring and even when it is absent it still reaches teaches allowing us how to become more. Have an awesome weekend.

I think it's poetry by Einstein.

“When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute — and it's longer than any hour. That's relativity.” - Albert Einstein

Can there every be too many love poems? I think not.. "Moments are forever when I’m with you" love bends time in an extraordinary way, even Einstein used it to explain his theory of relativity. All the feels captured here Karen. I like that you refer to the 'highest form' of love (agape) too. A happy read for me :)

Karen, such a sweet and tender love poem with an amazing blend of images - "melodic together like holy communion," "my love is agape," "amber sun rays from holy ghost." You definitely have your priorities right for Christ must come first then everything else falls into place. Your poem is a lovely blessing! Thank you!! Sending you blessings of autumn joy.
