Fallen Leaves
The ground is covered with shades of brown,
For the golden colors of autumn have fallen
And with them the moods of many are down.
The ground is covered with shades of brown
My sycamore is now bare, bereft of her crown
Blast of the north wind from afar came callin’,
The ground is covered with shades of brown
