Fallen Beauty
Oh fallen beauty
Your scarlet tears release
As leaves descend from mighty oak
To find the season’s peace
My fallen beauty
Your portrait still so fair
In royal hues of golden flame
And crimson strands of hair
Oh fallen beauty
A carpet at your feet
Remains of winsome elegance
For winter now to greet
