Oh fallen beauty Your scarlet tears release As leaves descend from mighty oak To find the season’s peace My fallen beauty Your portrait still so fair In royal hues of golden flame And crimson strands of hair Oh fallen beauty A carpet at your feet Remains of winsome elegance For winter now to greet

Hi Mike , An awesome autumn poem, we in this part of the work are in spring and no end of blossoms and green everywhere. I love autumn however, it has a hue of glory which no other season has. Maybe it is depicting to us how one day we will slip away! Regards, Jennifer
