Faith, Love and Rejected Lies
Faith, Love and Rejected Lies
Shallow is the way that seeks my heart and bones
promising glory, riches , palaces of many thrones
Ill is the spirit that bids me to forever yield
to promises of great magnificent victories far afield
Sick is the great temptations placed before my eyes
lusts, false love and many wicked sin covered lies
Damning is the place offered to buy my precious life
sweet rewards surely destined to end in misery and strife
Rejected are these treasures so falsely offered to me
rebuked are the dark demons tempting my fate to be
Saved am I for choosing truth and love over temptations
choosing faith and love over promised lies, eternal damnation
