Faeries Annual Fey Day Parade
Fey Day in the forest on the First of May
Nothing better the forest creatures say
There is a parade in the morning and it’s not slim
The teeniest faeries in the trees, on the tiniest limbs
The titmouse and the beetles follow in the grass
Under the dry leaves, all the way along the pass
Butterflies and meadow larks flit in and out the throng
The pixies and the elves will soon be right along.
