Eyes Wide Open
H-aving eyes wide open,
O-ne lovely morn is in view;
N-ew dawn has broken,
E-nding the twilight for
Y-ou.
F-ocus with eyes wide open,
R-aindrop is nowhere in sight;
A-nother day January twelfth
N-ever lacks for warm light.
C-atch the beautiful beacon
I-n the blue sky or heaven;
S-ee the white clouds up high,
C-learly watch with eyes wide
O-pen.
