Rhyme, ( When True Heart Speaks And Seeking Soul Obeys )
From the, "Seven Letters Never Sent" series(1977/1978)...
Note:
To Live, Thinking The End Never Comes
To have lived and have never inked a verse
To have loved and loss, which is worse
To have died a thousand ghastly deaths
To have not felt passions deepest breaths
To have cried, when death, its black hand took
To have never seen her true loving look
To have regrets, that Time gives no more
To utter prayers, to loss love implore
To face the end, holding dark that denies
To beg crying, looking into Heavenly skies......
Eyes That Learn To See Beauty And Nature's All
Poetry, writing what heart truly speaks.
To record to gift, that which ones soul seeks.
Eyes that learn to see beauty and Nature's all
remove those blinders set upon man's fall
walk in clear sunlight and feel what one should
knowing that one has done all that one could.
Poetry, writing what heart truly speaks.
To record to gift, that which ones soul seeks.
Reach to inner spirit feed its desire
communicate with others, light their fires
destroy those dark clouds that beset mankind
and discover truth, living that is not blind.
Poetry, writing what heart truly speaks.
To record to gift, that which ones soul seeks.
Love human life and all its many gifts
allow heart to humanity uplift
thrive in the glow, of blessings Heaven casts
searching for that Life, that forever lasts.
Poetry, writing what heart truly speaks.
To record to gift, that which ones soul seeks.
