Eyes On the Sky

A day of gray and white, snow and ice But thankful for friends being nice As the snow freezes, my heart stays warm In the middle of this mixed weather storm Hoping skies will clear by weekend to see the moon It is predicted to be bright and beautiful soon Thoughts of flowers are blooming in my mind Looking forward to spring and what I will find For now, winter wraps the mountains up high I will certainly be keeping my eyes on the sky Heidi Sands 2/6/20

Your optimism and good cheer have given me a real lift today, Heidi! … Baseball pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training sites in less than a week! ... Thanks so much! Smiles, Gershon

I admire your upbeat perspective, the way you look up toward the sky and focus on spring as winter still heaves its harsh weather our way. (We're expecting violent storms tonight.) Excellent writing, Heidi! Best wishes, carolyn

Apart from a few frosts, no sign of snow. But I can understand if you get a big fall you soon tire of it. Hang in there Heidi, spring not to far away. Tom

I look forward to Spring. Although grateful we have had a milder winter than usual this year, so far. Right now, it is snow and ice though. Thank you for your visit and comment :)

I saw my first snowflake in two years here today. Perhaps tonight I can see the moon once the clouds move away. Lovely poem. Heidi.
