Exterior Garment

Physical is the coat I wear-out
in the elements – the ephemeral
shell of me, and not the yoke, man's 
embryo of spiritual wealth...longevity of 
experience and immortal growth – 

True! -- of the Eternal Now in my 
biological years not one has convincingly
surfaced, risen above the depths of doubt
to undeniably attest, my only proof 
the intimate echo of a heart-heard
voice, reciting from the velum of a
supposed soul, surfacing despite the negative
chatter of fatalists: lordly provocateurs
of fiery electrons, rejecting sparks
of individual ethereal sense: despite no two of 
us ever proven exactly alike, each of us
the unlikely oddity of billions....
a mathematical contradiction that 
can only be attributed to the reality
of a God....

Valsa George Date: 7/25/2023 9:54:00 PM No one is alike in spirit and inner qualities though the outward appearance may look similar. So duplication is out of question. The cause for this oddity can only be attributed to God. I wonder if I have understood the poem in the sense you have written it. Joe, your poems are too prfound for me to explicate. Login to Reply Joe Dimino Date: 7/26/2023 3:28:00 PM Hi Valsa: as I see it, these types of works are not meant to be understood by the mind (intellect) alone...more to be understood by the heart really. And you seem to get it as well as anyone, better than I perhaps. What do we know of God, or surmise? Aware of everything, infinite beyond time and space as generally understood. Omnipotent, no need to duplicate anything exactly, seemingly obsessed with our individuality, yet with a definite preference toward Pure Love -- His self-essence proliferated in Endless Reality. Whatever comes from God is perfect and immortal...and presently what comes from man is illusion...saved by blessed evolution. Just my two cents on the subject. Blessings my friend.

No. For life is in constant change (flux), nothing ever remaining the same into infinity. By the time that duplication is done, the original subject is a newly evolved form of creation. Exact duplication if achieved (which it can't be) would only exist in the past tense at best. A non static, every churning digesting preterite. Computer language, getting to the moon, yet, when it comes to sentient life, even within the same specie there is great variation. Is math wrong? The proof of duplication we use to verify science wrong? No. They are correct. What we are not taking into account when dealing with sentient life, is the truth of a Spiritual Dimension~a more comprehensive understanding of the ever complicating reaching up and out domain of God manifesting intelligently within His life's conscious reality. When this is done, all logic resumes. Spirit is substance. It exists. Man can consciously use such knowledge -- prayer, soulful meditation is a beginning. Then comes absolute faith...and then the propagation of man assisted eternal miracles.

Before anything is considered, fact or science, it must be duplicatable -- Clones are not exactly alike. Nowhere in nature exists exact duplication -- No atom nor molecule is exactly alike...for this to be true, they would have to occupy the same space and time. Yet, the proof of science is duplication. They disprove themselves. Having said this, I am deeply grateful for the contributions of science: medicine for one, etc., etc.. My point, nobody knows anything...we sort of know...and by sort of knowing we do many wonderful things. The wise physician (the one I would go to) will not mock the faith healer...nor will an intelligent faith healer, not seek the help of a medical professional when available. Just my opinion, and I am admittedly an authority on nothing.
