With endowed human rights, I feel so blest
expressing jubilant gratitude’s best
that throbs midst triumphant worshipful zest
praising God for His love of mercy-crest.
Optimizing human rights, I do cheer
dear special child overcoming his fear
toward finish line of milestone so clear
as I hide my eyes, battling to shed tear.
Enjoying human rights, I hear the bliss
of soul commending every Brod and Sis
while trying to lift from burdens’ abyss
those needing help, since courage-zeal they miss.
Fighting for human rights, I can’t ignore
pleas of abandoned kids that want to soar
above mendicancy and begging chore
though struggling against selfishness’ war.
Practicing human rights, I empathize
while listening to friends, heaving out cries
giggling likewise when they burst glee’s surprise
for miracle-stories of Christ’s supplies.
Valuing human rights, I respond now
prayerfully fulfilling servant’s vow*
of reaching-out as the Lord does allow
by faith, pleased to have His divine “wow.”
Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
