Every Tree Has Heavenly Roots

Every Tree Has Heavenly Roots The fields are soaked by the rain; Within this Universe life grows Springing forth, both joy and pain; The world is blind and it shows. Marvelous are the heavenly mountains; Their hats touching the bluest sky Life flows, waters from its fountains; As delicious as home made apple pie. This magic prevails against all; For light yields its deepest fruits Natures serves the Master's sweet call; Every tree has heavenly roots. Ancient words tell this great tale; This world formed by divine hands Divine art shines, it can never fail; Life singing across all of God's lands. Within our hearts dwells his words; Thoughts and prayers that ring out We can hear the melody by the birds; The loving message is an echoed shout. Can you hear that melodic , sweet refrain; If not then listen, ever so quietly yet again. Robert J. Lindley, 02-07-2015 note- I had a very vivid dream last night and this write came to me from that dream. I can only hope that this is the whole message sent to me...

Well no matter what we write about, I believe is all good, expressing our thoughts is always better than repressing them! Just keep on writing my friend!!!!

I agree. We should open up. We may each write for a different reason but in the end it is poetry and others read it. All for good seems to be the path my friend. When we keep our ego's out of it, write straight from our hearts--poetry is born each and every time.

Arthur, always a pleasure to read your comments to my writes! I am turning a page here and now. I hope to never write about my past troubles and the write a bit more optimistically from this day forward. Or is that just mere wishful thinking? We shall she. Life is a ship of mysteries, sailing on an ocean of sand. We may pick and choose but it comes to naught unless we ask for guidance from a divine hand..

A beautiful poem of praise from a grateful heart, Robert! Sometimes God is simply telling us to slow down and enjoy his creation...hugs, Rhonda

I believe you are so right my friend. I think perhaps God is saying write more about your blessings and far less about your past life and misgivings!

Thanks Richard. Dreams, other poets inspiring poems and past experiences seem to be the fodder for most of my writes. Primarily my past life but its nice when I find other inspiration! I believe that dream had a message for me. I also believe I was meant to write about it. Certainly hope it may help somebody , some way..

Thanks my friend. I hope you faired well during that storm. That was a good dream my friend. I have the bad ones as well. I seem to have more bad ones since I was a tad bit wild as a young man! "Wild as hell" my favorite aunt always declared. Have a great weekend my friend.
