Just one question, Caren: How do you love an olive tree?! ~ Smiles, gw

And it came to pass that the old gnarled olive tree was 100% correct! Well penned Gershon. I have stayed on an island called Zakinthos where olives trees abound. I used to walk through the grounds late afternoon when it was cooler., - I met an old man tending to the olive trees with a cigarette in his mouth, he was 103 years old and walked a little bent but with no aid, unbelievable that a simple life equals longevity. Blessings and hugs, Jennifer.

I think that olive trees can live 400 - 500 years or so.

Well, my kids tell me that olives grow in cans, not on trees. They are quite observant, are they not?! lol.

You are so right, gw. I FAVE only when I am genuinely moved by a poem. This poem also brought to mind the legend of the olive tree, which I presume you know.

I really appreciate the FAVE, Milt. I know you don't give these away, so to speak. Thanks, Gershon
