Evening's Serenade
Evening's Serenade
The daytime fades to blue violet shades,
as sunlight has bade its shining parade.
Bright stars are arrayed like the moon’s bridesmaid,
and beds are unmade, in which to be laid.
as we are swayed by evening's serenade.
