Even if nothing comes of it
You will have triggered a fresh hope
Sparked life and a new beginning
Scattering all that’s negative
One cleansing swoosh of energy
Gently breathing life into me
With each understanding silence
Subtle and tender heartfelt gaze
Reassuring word and warm touch
Awaiting in expectation
For soft hints of invitations
You’re not yet sure you mean or want
Serenely enjoying the wait
As it does not hold deception
