Forevermore, I am your lover, Orfeo….. My arms wrapped softly about your kness As you strummed your guitar, Orfeo, Your love songs, floating in a Brazilian breeze. Our life and love, was never meant to last. Yet while we are young and filled with mirth, Knowing we are doomed by tales from the past. Let us samba, making love while still on earth. We shall wake from our silken, sleep my love Watching a glorious sunrise in Rio. Your hand warn in mine, like an Angel from above, Te adoro, mi Amore, Orfeo, mio! Poem Inspired by the movie, “Black Orpheus” Based on Greek myholgy… Regarding Orpheus and Eurydice.**in the movie version, she calls him,”Orfeo.” 4/23/2023

Hello Paangiota, Oh! I like what you call self publishing. I did not know I have a copy wright to each poem. When i post on any site it has no copy right. i did not know that. But this does. Yes that would be different. Hugs /Darlene\ xxx

Darlene. when you post a poem here….I call that self publication. No, it’s not someone else publishing you.You also have a copyright to each of your works. When you post at any site..it has no copyright. This does. So I call it a…self publication you can ask Paul. Callus on this issue . I also have poems in the first anthology.. that’s different. Hugs to you for FAVING this,. I just reread it! It really is beautilly penned. I don’t write ever to fill a form or win..You and I write from our heats, to see our poens comp,etc to us, Not looking for a stamp of approval. I donot think pietry should be a race. Twicea year, but that’s all. There are piems I published, that are not good. I am no longer in a race to write the poems. I mellowed out. Pangie xx
